Welcome to Stitched to a Tea. Here you can find hand crafted cross stitch cards, gift tags and gifts. Come explore our blog where we discuss crafting, life with children, brewing, and anything else life brings our way.
How we started
A quick summary: I was born in England but have lived in America for going on 13 years. I quit my job when I had my second child (see the adorable pictures to the right). Feeling restless, I wanted to work on a project and be more productive and put some of the free time I have to good use. I took my love of cross stitch and started creating cards which I sent to friends and family for holidays and birthdays. Now I am spreading my wings and seeing what the internet holds. So please come and look at my hand crafted cross stitch cards and tags and let me know what you think. You will probably see this link a lot as I spam it around here but if you what you see, please also visit my Etsy store by clicking here. There you can see what is currently for sale. If you see something in the gallery you like that isn't for sale, please send me a message and we can work something out.
In addition to our cards and gallery, I'll be doing blog posts on my creative process, on my two kids, and on life in general. (Husband's note: If you guys like what you see here, TELL EVERYONE YOU'VE EVER MET!)
My husband (who has interjected himself above) will show up here occasionally to provide commentary and to make you all wonder why I married him in the first place. We hope to have fun, and please bear with us as we learn and grow.
